Watches have been my passion for many years. In them, I have found the purity and beauty of time, which advances relentlessly, pushing us to new challenges, new adventures, as well as new joys and sorrows, tragedies, and successes.
I recently lost my father, and his loss reminded me of the ephemeral nature of life, and how we are all, without exception, travelers on the ship of destiny, each heading to our own Ithaca, each in its own time, each with its own challenges, joys and sorrows.
The brand represents love, passion, and the desire to recover what only mechanical watches can offer, the combination of a watch that beats and oscillates, together with the characters and legends that have shaped our history.
Unlike many enthusiasts and brand founders, my focus has always been knowledge, I am currently a professor and researcher, holding two master’s degrees and a Ph.D. The fusion of my passion for watchmaking with my work as an academic is what has made the vision of Justiniani possible as a brand.
Justiniani watches are not inspired by racing, pilots or diving, there is enough of that already. Our watches are inspired by history, by knowledge and, above all, by those who have forged it.

As a brand, we believe in history, the power of knowledge, and those who have changed its course. Our watches deviate from fashion, from everyday and perishable. Our design is timeless, with a historical focus for a historical brand. We believe in the beauty of simplicity, with a pure style that transcends the ages.
The Brand Symbol
The brand logo symbolizes the golden ratio, represented by the Greek letter phi (φ). The American mathematician, Max Barr, gave the golden ratio the name of phi (φ), the first Greek letter of the name of Phidias, the great Greek sculptor who lived in the 5th century BC., his most significant achievements were the Parthenon in Athens and the Zeus in Olympia, one of the seven wonders of the ancient world. Our brand bears this symbol as a search for perfection and beauty.
Justiniani
Justiniani is a surname that goes back hundreds of years in the past. From Emperor Justinian in the Roman Empire to Giovanni Giustiniani Longo, the last defender of Constantinople. This name carries with it the passage of time, being present at the end of the Middle Ages and the birth of a new era; it was logical then that this historical brand would bear this name since this surname carries the lines of time and its legacy.
